Rarely do I read poetry books cover to cover in one sitting, but Margaret Chula's Shadow Man was the exception.. It's an amazing collection: vivid, heartbreaking, engaging, brave. Her experiences growing up with her father will be a shock of recognition for some readers or for others like me will be a reminder of how grateful we are for our own fathers. This is a not-to-be-missed chapbook -- beautifully written by Maggie and beautifully designed by Shawn and Robert!
