A collection of voice poems, In These Voices, allows us to peek inside the lives of a variety of characters. Levine, through the magic of language, embodies a jilted lover, a worried husband, a young woman, a son, a granddaughter and even a squirrel.
We live in a world where access to breaking news is available 24/7. But how often do we go beyond the headline? What happened next? What was the impact on our fellow humans across the globe? Can we learn? Can we change? Can we make a difference? We invite the world to read these poems and start a conversation—perhaps one that is way overdue.
All That She Can is a collection of poetry that encompasses motherhood, family history, what it means to be a woman today—and the lust inside of us all. All That She Can tells the story of love, betrayal, passion, and rage. It explores themes of family while acknowledging the complexity of familial ties; it reaches into grasping the twisted nature of mental health; and it documents the contradictory feelings of elation and rejection that often arise within romantic relationships.

Impressions is a small collection of traditional formal poetry by Dr. Paul T.M. Jackson, inspired by quiet moments and observations—whether they occurred while cycling through Provence, rambling in Wales, trekking through Galicia, hunting for castles in Corsica, or even on a pirogue in the Amazon. Jackson enjoys sharing these moments with his readers, and hopes these carefully crafted poems helps them find their own ‘poetic eye.’
We’re open for submissions for our first annual Chapbook Prize now thru Feb 28. Winner receives $200 honorarium plus publication of their chapbook later this year. Contest is open to all poets residing in the U.S. Click HERE for all the details and guidelines.
Thank you to everyone who submitted their poems for The Poeming Pigeon: In the News issue. We received 682 submissions from around the globe, including 5 continents, 13 countries and 39 states. We’re busy reading through each and every poem and WOW! We’re blown away by the work. It’s going make for some very tough decisions, but we promise to let everyone know by March 15.
